The story of Donna Emilia
Bistrot Donna Emilia takes its name from a figure who played a fundamental role in the history of the hotel and the family: Grandma Emilia, a woman of character, heart and great passion for cooking.
Her table was much more than a simple place to eat: it was a meeting point, a place of harmony and life, where tradition took shape through generous dishes and simple gestures, always meant to welcome and bring people together.
On weekends, she had one unwritten rule: family gathered, chairs drawn close, laughter mingling with the scents of ragù, eggplant parmigiana and freshly baked desserts.
It was not just cooking, it was her way of caring for others, of keeping everyone together, of turning every lunch into a small ritual of happiness (and abundance, always!).
Today, Bistrot Donna Emilia carries on this legacy: the flavours of Italian tradition, family recipes and above all that deeply convivial soul that makes every table a place of meeting, storytelling and sharing.
